the most interesting updates ever .001

Quick photoshoot I did on Friday's outfit that I never got around to posting. I had been up late before drooling over this 60-inspired shift dress that was way out of my price range but I could probably sew. Then I remembered I don't sew and decided to let my obsession trickle into the next day's outfit, with bell sleeves, graphic shapes, and orange-and-pink accents that reminded me of the 60's.

I'm holding a decidedly caffeinated chai tea latte because, folks, I had a rough day at work that day. The kids are restless and I can't blame them. Most of them are to young to articulate the cabin fever they are feeling with it still being MARCH AND SNOWING. Sorry for the caps lock. I wanted to make sure mother nature could hear me.

What my entire Thrusday, Friday, and Saturday looked like. I've downed way to many of these things for it to be healthy.

J and I out doing romantic-married-people things this afternoon. Like grocery shopping at target because we wanted to buy their frozen crag rangoons. And pattern mixing. Lots of Pattern mixing.

This quaint little restaurant is nestled in the middle of downtown Bangor suburbs, if you will. It's run by a hilarious Lady named Christine who remembers you by name. J and I frequent there because of their absolutely perfect fried rangoon. Seriously. J and I have a thing for Chinese cuisine and have been the patrons of many a chef, but none of them compare to her crab rangoon. Perfection.

I think we may have a slight crab rangoon addiction.

Me, mouth agape at the sun gracing the ground on Friday. I wanted to sit there all day and watch the snow melt.

Love,
A.

  2. Fabulous sweater! I still adore that orange satchel. <3

That whole thing about thinking you could sew something, then realizing you don't sew almost made me dribble my rum and coke. Haha. I held it down, like a champ, don't worry. I totally get that fleeting feeling, though. :D

It has been overcast, intermittently snowy and rainy all week. So lame. I would hungrily gaze upon any morsel of sunlight, as well. I really do miss it.

P.S. - You look waaaay too young to be married and you both are just way too happy. Unacceptable. ;P

Yes, J and I are super young. As in, both us are under 25 years old young. I'm actually turning 22 in a few days! And our one-year anniversary is on the 24 of March.

I will let him know our happiness is apparent :P

      love,
      A.
